Case Study – Helping a business grow by creating an online presence
Meet Andrew, not his real name for confidentiality purposes. Andrew had already been working with our team when he had started his own business as a chauffeur.
The business had been going well and was providing a steady income for the last year. However, the company didn’t have an online presence, and Andrew wanted to be able to reach more customers in a professional setting.
We started by conducting market research to discover what his competitors were offering and what potential clients wanted from a chauffeur service. Our business consultants also sourced an appropriate domain name that would give the same luxury feel that the company service provides.
Andrew came into our offices to go over our findings and brainstorm ideas for a new website and what features he required. For example, it was clear early on that the aim was to provide functionality within the website to allow customer bookings and take payment.
Based on this, our team then worked on some preliminary design ideas regarding content, images, colour scheme etc. Keeping in mind the whole time, the brand values and messaging that Andrew wanted to reflect in his business.
We identified that Andrew didn’t have appropriate professional images to showcase his service. So, we organised a photoshoot in beautiful locations across East Sussex that would highlight the kind of luxurious experience the company offered. It wasn’t just website images either, we considered social media imagery and what would work for the platforms he would be using.
Once the website layout had been agreed, our team worked on ensuring the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was as good as it could be to ensure the company was being ranked efficiently on search engines. Integrated other applications to assist with the booking process and created a professional website that had everything his potential clients could need.
Alongside the website, we created a social media strategy that would allow him to share reviews, showcase images of the cars, additional services he provides, and provide a way to engage directly with his customers.
The new website and social media presence have meant that it’s so much easier for his clients to make a booking and see what the company offers to make their journey a comfortable one. Andrew has somewhere to refer people who he meets during the business day and a professional online storefront that answers any questions people might have. Increasing the potential for increased business and making it easier for the company to be found online.
